Lineker’s correct – Haka now too violent
❑ As somebody who’s seen it, done it and faced it in my long illustrious rugby career, I don’t totally disagree with Gary Lineker’s comments on the All Blacks Haka. In my day it was nowhere near as intimidating as today’s multi versions, especially the weird tongue/ throat slashing routine adopted nowadays. Won’t work on ENGLAND, we’ll whup them. THUNDERGUTS
❑ The All Blacks haka. Patriotic people displaying pride and belief in their culture and history. No wonder Princess Lineker is having a dig at it. Duffy
❑ Lineker should be sacked by the BBC for his comments about the traditional New Zealand Haka. Geoff, Newcastle
❑ Lineker shouldn’t have laughed at the all blacks but questioned why they are doing a Maori war dance when they are not maories. ROBERT GLASGOW
❑ England should respond to the Haka with a high kicking, arms round the waist, Tiller Girls routine. Steve, London
❑ Haka response: turn around, drop shorts, moonie. daz, leicester
❑ What I object to is not haka but Kiwis taking all best rugby talent from islands like Fiji. SCH
❑ Now I’ve heard it all. Jack Shepherd’s mental health suffered because he was losing his hair. Man up. Derek Goldstraw
❑ I see the Appretice candidates had trouble seeing big 5 in South Africa. I had no probs. I went to Colchester zoo. Brilliant even if you get feeling some see you as lunch. Phil, Southend
❑ Why the hell does BBC News have captions on bottom of screen when they don’t give you enough time to read them. Very annoying. TONI
