Climate war is baffling

ALMOST two thirds of us would be more willing to tackle climate change if we understood what we could do to help.

Only half believe recycling will save the environment, with just 49% believing that removing single use plastics will make a difference.

And just three in 10 think being energy efficient would have the biggest impact on the environment.

Conservationist and TV presenter Chris Packham said: “We’re calling for energy efficiency in the climate change debate.”

The study for Smart Energy GB also found 62% reckon it is UK consumers’ responsibility to tackle climate change.
