JOOLS Holland will actually celebrate the arrival of 2020 next month.

His annual BBC show Jools’ Annual Hootenanny gets filmed in November but airs on the night of December 31.

Asked what he will be doing on New Year’s Eve, the musician tells Radio Times: “I might like an evening of nice folk music. A bit of a dance, friends, family.

“Just go up to my railway layout and ignore the festivities.”
