Singer’s attack on bar boss
BRIT Award winner Finley Quaye punched a bar manager in the face after drinking all day.
The singer, best known for 1997 album Maverick A Strike, attacked Robert Jenei outside Troubadour in west London.
Quaye, 45, had asked the bar boss to look for a woman’s handbag, but Mr Jenei returned to find him “visibly angry”, a court heard.
The performer punched him and shouted: “I’ll stab you lot in the kidney, I will stab you in the wind pipe.”
Quaye admitted assault and is due before Westminster magistrates for sentence on Monday.
