COUNTDOWN legend Carol Vorderman roars Wales to victory over Fiji to reach the Rugby World Cup quarter-finals.

The maths whizz was spotted standing to attention and belting out the Welsh national anthem in a figurehugging replica shirt at the Oita Stadium in Japan yesterday.

The 58-year-old was born in Bedford but was raised in her mother’s hometown of Prestatyn, north Wales, and is a proud fan of the Cymru team, who came from behind to beat the South Pacific islanders 29-17. TELLY star Ant McPartlin is now “back to full health” and ready for TV again.

Saturday Night Takeaway co-star Stephen Mulhern said he’s already filming pre-recorded bits of the show with the star and his pal Declan Donnelly, 44.

And he declared Ant, 43, who has taken a year out from TV after his drink-driving arrest, is now “back on his game” as he prepares to return to telly.

SNT was put on ice in

2018 after the incident.

But Stephen said: “Ant is back to full health.

“He has been back on his game for a long, long time. He is all good.

“We’ve been out and about and it’s amazing what people will do to win a grand.

“It’s nice to get out of the studio and meet the public.

“It’s wonderful that

Saturday Night Takeaway will be back in January.”

Stephen, 42, said he is meeting up with the presenting pair this week to finalise plans for the new Takeaway run in 2020.

And he vowed to get his revenge on the Geordies for their constant windups on screen.

The Catchphrase host said: “I’m already working on my ideas on how to get my own back.”

An ITV source last night said SNT wouldn’t be ready for January, as Stephen claimed, but would be back next year.
