RORY Stewart has been accused of racism after labelling three men he met “minor gangsters”.
The MP posted a video with the trio as part of his bid to be London Mayor.
He said: “I can go to Brick Lane and three sort of minor gangsters can come up to me and spend a minute telling me I’m an idiot.” But the men said they were now considering legal action “ASAP”.
And Labour MP David Lammy added: “Just because a black man is wearing a hoodie does not make him a ‘minor gangster.’”
Stewart later said he was “really sorry”.
