Gough’s shower scare from deadly viper
ENGLAND cricket legend Darren Gough came face to face with a deadly viper in his bathroom.
The 49-year-old was on safari in South Africa when he found a boomslang snake as he stepped into the shower.
The six-foot creature’s bite can cause uncontrollable bleeding without medical aid.
It was the former Strictly champ’s second near-death experience in a few months after a scorpion stung him in
■ a remote area of the country, far from help.
