999 call for pizza

POLICE have highlighted series of idiotic 999 calls.

One man demanded: “Can you send someone to collect my pizza because it’s not arrived and I’m starving.”

Another asked police in Warwickshire: “What time

adoes Marks & Spencer’s open? I want to buy my wife a dress.”

Police said: “You should call 999 when offenders are nearby, life is at risk, injury is threatened or when there is a crime in progress.”
