A howl of a time
WOLVES at a safari park have started howling at the weekly fire alarm test – because they think it’s a rival pack.
They have been observed reacting to the routine alarm by going into what park keepers have described as a
“howling frenzy”. One keeper believes the wolves are trying to ward off another wolf pack.
Eloise Kilbane, at Longleat Safari Park in Wiltshire, said: “The most effective way to advertise how powerful they are is a mass howl-in.”
