CONOR McGregor was fined just £860 for punching a man sitting on a bar stool in a pub.

The UFC star, worth £100million, pleaded guilty to the unprovoked assault on Desmond Keogh, who is in his 50s.

McGregor, 31, was ordered to pay the meagre sum within a month. His lawyers said Mr Keogh has already been paid compensation separately and accepted an apology from the fighter.

Mr Keogh didn’t appear at Dublin District Court and didn’t submit a victim impact statement.

CCTV footage shows the former two-weight world champion hitting Mr Keogh on the side of the face at the Marble Arch pub in Dublin while he was looking the other way.

Shot

Mr Keogh had declined to accept a shot of McGregor’s own brand of whiskey – Proper Twelve – but seemed unmoved by the blow and suffered no injury.

McGregor addressed the judge and said what he did was “very wrong”.

He added: “I assure you nothing of this nature will happen again regarding me.”

It isn’t the first time McGregor has found himself in trouble with the law. The court heard he had 18 previous convictions, including public order, several for speeding and one for a prior assault in 2009.

In July 2018 he pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in New York as part of a plea deal after he threw a metal trolley at a rival’s team bus.

He announced plans to return to the Octagon on January 18.

Sonia Winifred said: “We outfit for up to four days.

This is important support for individuals and low-income families. It’s as easy as borrowing a book.”
