The Only Way Is Brexit

- ■ by ED GLEAVE edward.gleave@dailystar.co.uk

GEMMA Collins is set to be hired by the Government to promote Brexit, we can reveal.

The reality star will meet top-level officials next month about becoming the face of the movement to take us out of the European Union.

It is hoped getting Gemma on board will help convince her millions of fans to believe in Brexit.

Gemma, 38, told the Daily Star: “Parliament got in touch a couple of weeks ago and wanted me to speak to them regarding my take on Brexit.

“They want my views on

Brexit because obviously the public listen to me.

“They want somebody my age to give my spin on it. It’s a way of making it more understandable.

“A lot of this politics stuff is quite difficult for people to understand.

“So I was going to do the

GC breakdown on it.”

Gemma is set to work alongside staff from No9

Downing Street, where our exit from the EU is being masterminded.

It is hoped her involvement will help Prime

Minister Boris Johnson get

Brexit on track.

Gemma said: “I think at the end of the day people like Boris, but because he is a bit eccentric they might not understand him. But

I think he is the way forward. I think if I get the opportunity to get up close and personal with Boris and have a good chat with him, I could help him.”

Gemma voted Leave in the 2016 referendum and more than three years on is frustrated the process has stalled.

She added: “A decision has to be made.”

Gemma plans to continue with telly work on The Only Way Is Essex.

Meanwhile it has been announced she has teamed up with Travel Republic to launch the Break Up Service for couples who have split. Visit travelrepublic.co.uk.

IF you thought Brexit was already chaotic enough, look away now. Britain is crying out for a sharp minded relatable figure to guide us through this mess. We can all agree on that. And who have the Government called on in our time of need? Never fear, The GC is here... It’s no joke. Officials are struggling to convince sceptical youngsters of their post-European Union vision. So they thought it wise to turn to loudmouth Gemma Collins for advice. Our out-of-touch politicians think the 38-year-old reality telly star is down with the kids. We’re doomed. She’s a big-boned blonde diva with a chequered personal life and a catchy nickname. Wonder what Boris sees in her. As the supposed voice of disaffected youth said herself: “This politics stuff is quite difficult for people to understand.” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
