PARTY’S OVER Brit lager louts facing crackdown on fun isles
NEW laws aim to stop boozy Brits terrorising party resorts such as Magaluf.
They would force hotels to immediately send any troublemakers packing.
And massive fines and closures would hit shops that flout curbs on the sale of alcohol.
All-inclusive deals would be practically banned in Magaluf and Playa de Palma in Majorca and San Antonio in Ibiza.
Mauricio Carballeda, president of the Palmanova and Magaluf Hotel Association, admitted rowdy Magaluf strip Punta Ballena was wrecking clean-up attempts.
Mr Carballeda said: “Regrettably, the change of image has not progressed as everyone had hoped. Tourism of excesses eclipses positive news about developments, and the disorder on Punta Ballena continues to hold the resort back. Available resources are insufficient”.
