IF you’re heading to London for a little Christmas shopping there’s now a much easier way to whizz around.

Apple and Transport for London have announced a big update to their contactles­s system which will help speed things up when paying for a trip.

The upgrade, called Express Transit, means that those with an iPhone or Apple Watch will no longer need to arm their devices.

From now on, all you have to do is simply place your iPhone or Apple Watch straight on the card reader.

And it will still work if your phone should run out of battery.

Customers can pay using Apple Pay on an iPhone 6, 6s, 6 Plus, 6s Plus, 7, 7 Plus, 8, 8 Plus, SE, X, XS, XS Max, XR, 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max or Apple Watch. ★

SKY customers are getting some TV treats over the festive period. To say thanks to its customers, it has announced some fantastic gifts including movies, Premier League Boxing Day football, unlimited data on Sky Mobile and free worldwide calls.

There’s even the classic Love Actually movie to download and keep without paying a penny.

Simply go to Sky Store on your Sky box and choose Love Actually for free between now and December 31. ★

DON’T forget, if you subscribe to Amazon Prime Video you’ll get a bunch of football action.

It has a total of 20 games being broadcast including Arsenal v Brighton and Sheffield United v Newcastle tonight. Over Christmas, they have matches including Leicester v Liverpool and Wolves v Man City.
