PRODUCER IN STRICTLY PLEA

-

ANNE-Marie fell victim to Capital’s Jimmy Hill’s drunken messages. Speaking before she opened day two of Jingle Bell Ball, Jimmy confessed: “I’ve got to apologise actually Anne-Marie, because I DMed you the other day, didn’t I?

“I was getting a little bit mushy, I was like: ‘Anne-Marie I love you so much, you’re my favourite.’” Luckily, Anne-Marie has a solution for avoiding drunken fans. “I have separate inboxes for normal people and my friends,” she laughed.

CHART-topping producer Jax Jones is begging: “Sign me up, Strictly!”

The This is Real hitmaker admitted he’s loving being the star of his own music videos since stepping more into the spotlight and is confident he has the moves.

Jax, who performed at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball, told me: “I have been showing people a few things, I am getting used to being on camera more and I am not shy about busting a two-step – it’s the way I am.

“It is just that more people have been paying attention now, I’ve got moves. They may be the same moves, though!”

Unlike many producers, Jax admitted he enjoys being at the front and centre of music, instead of hiding behind his collaborations. He added: “I love my peers and my DJs but electronic music has this reputation of being very alone, it’s not considered a group activity, but I looked up to the likes of Pharrell Williams, and Pharrell is all up on the video doing all sorts, on his BMX and that.

“So that is my vibe, I have no shame, I am all up there doing the dance moves, showing off, everything you see is who I am, I don’t have a public persona – I am just me.”

He won’t be falling victim to the dreaded Strictly curse, though. Jax gushed: “My wife is really important to me, we are a team, we do everything together.”
