Pop stars back together
WHAM! star Andrew Ridgeley appears to have rekindled his romance with his ex-girlfriend Keren Woodward.
Bananarama singer Keren and Andrew struck up a relationship in 1990 but it ended in 2017.
Keren, 58, moved to London from the couple’s Cornwall home after admitting they had split.
But the pair have now been spotted looking happy as they strolled hand in hand through central London.
They were seen laughing and hugging before Andrew, 56, planted a kiss on the side of Keren’s head.
Two years ago the Last Christmas singer admitted they were no longer an item but said: “As close friends, with different lives, we see each other as circumstances allow and retain a great affection for one another.”
And Keren confessed: “We’ve gone our separate ways. These things happen unfortunately, but we still speak.”
The duo had already survived an earlier break in 2015 when they briefly separated before working through their problems and getting back together.
After they both shot to fame in the 1980s, pop star Andrew withdrew from the limelight and set up home in north Cornwall while Keren toured with Bananarama.
In 2009, Keren revealed that her partner “enjoys the anonymity that he has, but also he has a complete understanding of me and why I am still doing it (performing)”. Despite living a quiet life in rural
Cornwall for decades, Andrew returned to the spotlight earlier this year to promote the box office hit romantic comedy Last Christmas that he worked on with actress Emma Thompson.
