It’s plane sailing...

NAVY chiefs were left red faced when a £100million stealth jet broke down and had to be shipped home from the US.

The F-35 was due to fly back after “successful trials” with the US Marines.

It developed a fault and was secretly sent home in a hangar on board HMS Queen Elizabeth.

But a sailor tweeted a pic of the jet and said “everyone knew” it was broken.
