SEAN MAGUIRE helped bring Preston’s losing streak to an end as he shone in a bad-tempered affair.

Just minutes after the striker (inset) fired North End into the lead, Fulham were a man down when Denis Odoi was given a straight red for a shoulder-in-the-face challenge on Patrick Bauer.

In was 10 against 10 when Joe Rafferty was sent off in the 44th minute after a wild and reckless challenge on Joe Bryan.

North End doubled their lead after the break when David Nugent rolled back the years as he bagged his first for Preston in 12 years.

A deflected effort from Aleksandar Mitrovic was all the visitors had to cheer.
