Why do people keep slagging off Jane McDonald? I much rather listen to her than some of the dross that’s dished out today i.e. Rap Crap etc. She’s a lovely Yorkshire lass with a great northern sense of humour (and I’m a Cockney). FLOYD

Re Jane McDonald. We have been to see her ‘live’ in concert. She’s a top top singer/performer. But to be taken seriously as the international performer she needs to cut out all the crap vastly unfunny northern talk she does between every song with every audience she has. You wud never see Shirley Bassey talking such inane crap. Steve, London
