REALITY TV star Vicky Pattison has revealed how years of yo-yo dieting left her miserable – and has vowed to finally beat her demons this year.
The former Geordie Shore star and Celebrity MasterChef finalist has been both a size 16 and a size 6, and says she was unhappy at both of her extremes.
Vicky, 32, even admits to counting the number of blueberries she put on her porridge when she was at her slimmest.
She says: “Over the years, throughout all my adult life actually, my weight has fluctuated.
Ambassador
“I’ve been really, really also been a lot bigger. In happy either size.
“When I was bigger I didn’t feel comfortable going out and doing what I wanted to do, or wearing what I wanted to wear.
“When I was smaller, I even counted how many blueberries I put in my porridge. I was a boring cow!”
Vicky is planning to make 2020 the year she is finally happy with herself.
She has just been announced as an ambassador slim and then I’ve retrospect, I wasn’t for WW, formerly WeightWatchers, and is embarking on her new body journey with her mother Caroll.
“I’m working hard this year to be fit, strong and healthy,” she says. “To be the best version of myself and achieve more than I ever have. “I want to be happy and content.
“I don’t want to be told I can’t have carbs or I can’t enjoy a gin and tonic and I don’t want a life without Haribos.
“For me, WW was perfect. It allows me to enjoy all the things I want to enjoy and I don’t have to cut anything out of my life.”
Vicky is especially keen to look after her body after she was told she could struggle to conceive due to her years of yo-yo dieting and heavy partying.
It played a big part in her decision to join the programme and adopt a healthier lifestyle.
“Of course, that was such a huge factor for me,” she explains. “In your 20s you’re not really thinking about stuff like that. I know I wasn’t!
“I was having a wild time, kissing boys, slut dropping, living my best life, and y the definition of living your best life
“From dancing on tables and g numbers to loving a series on Netfl a cuddle with your boyfriend wi wine, that shift happened so barely even noticed. Along with th desire to have children.”

And while she does not have plans to start a family with boy Ramadan, who she moved in with after six months of dating, she s has consulted a doctor and enq freezing her eggs.
