Postie’s big scam

A POSTMAN swindled nearly £30,000 out of the Royal Mail to fund his cocaine habit.

Joe Philbin, 36, “effectively took from the till” for three years, Portsmouth Crown Court was told.

Philbin, manager at the Havant Delivery Office, admitted theft and was given a 12-month jail sentence suspended for two years.
