Harry on the mend
from JOHN CROSS in Leipzig
HARRY KANE has given Tottenham and England a boost after stepping up his comeback from injury.
The striker was put through his paces at the club’s training ground yesterday following surgery on a hamstring injury suffered in December.
Kane is hopeful of being back in full training by the end of the month and playing in April.
He said: “Love being back on the grass with a ball at my feet.”
But Dele Alli has warned his team-mate not rush his comeback.
“Harry’s an amazing athlete and professional,” he said.
“He’s picked up a few injuries and every time he’s recovered very well. I wasn’t surprised to see him out there.
“It’s a massive boost. He’s a real leader and we need him back.
“But I’ve had a few hamstring injuries – I don’t want him to rush it. As long as he comes back strong, I’ll be happy.”
