Furry rude...

A NEW BBC bear based on the 13th Doctor Jodie Whittaker has run into an embarrassing problem.

The corporation joined forces with Build-a-bear for the furry toy.

But fans think her sonic screwdriver looks just like an over-sized sex toy.

One said: “Why is the bear holding a weird-looking d***o?”

Another added: “It looks like something from Ann Summers.”

STRICTLY star and comedian Chris Ramsey has landed his first BBC One prime-time show working alongside Little Mix.

He proved such an audience favourite on the dance series last year that he has been signed to host the group’s new talent hunt called The Search.

Ramsey joked: “Since the moment I heard their first single, I knew I wanted to be the fifth member of Little Mix.

“Sadly it looks like I’m going to have to settle for just hosting their new show with them!”

The funnyman is no stranger to the band as they have appeared on Celebrity Juice together and been on the same bill at charity live shows.

Little Mix – Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-anne Pinnock – are looking to find talented singers to put into new boy, girl or mixed-sex bands in their new BBC series this spring.

The best of the bunch will all live together during the series and be mentored by the lasses and their teams of experts.

The band voted the ultimate winner will get the chance to support Little Mix on their 2020 summer tour.

Perrie said last night: “We’re so happy Chris has come on board to present The Search. He’s genuinely one of the funniest people we know and he’ll bring loads of his South Shields charm to the show. We can’t wait to get started.”
