Congratulations to Liverpool players and staff for their fantastic on one knee anti-racism gesture in support of the murdered George Floyd. But t’s a shame they didn’t practice what they’re preaching in the case of Luis Suarez when he racially abused Patrice Evra. On that occasion players and staff all wore T-shirts in support of the racist Suarez, double standards but nothing surprises me with this self opinionated club.

Harry Kane came up with a classic statement last week when he said we must finish fourth to get into Champions league. That is Tottenham’s ambition. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Not good enough to win the top prizes. When Kane leaves, you will be snookered, because he wants to win trophies. He won’t win anything with Tottenham. Mal the Claret

I understand the outrage about the racism in America but Liverpool football club jumping on the bandwagon they weren’t that quick when Suarez was racist towards Patrice Evra. It seems like double standards.
