Kray-zy warning to Gary
SPANDAU Ballet’s Gary Kemp has said how he and brother Martin had to stop themselves laughing in the face of Ronnie Kray.
It came when Ronnie told Gary “not to wear an earring” in hit movie The Krays. The 60-year-old, who played Ronnie opposite Martin, 58, as Reggie, in the 1990 flick, met the real Ronnie at Broadmoor.
But the crook spotted his earring and told him not to wear it. Gary said: “He said: ‘You’re not going to play me with that earring in’.” Martin said it was the “hardest thing” trying to stifle a laugh.
