POP star Nik Kershaw admitted he forgot the words to one of his most famous hits in front of 1.9billion TV viewers at Live Aid.

Nik, 62, right, was approached by Bob Geldof to perform at the Wembley gig 35 years ago today.

For years he has tried to repress the memory of fluffing the words to the second verse of

Wouldn’t It Be Good and singing bits of the first verse again.

Nik said: “It was a big moment in my head for years and years.”
