Camera rolls on Bake Off
THE Great British Bake Off and Line Of Duty are among the top shows to resume filming first, broadcasters have confirmed.
Channel 4 say the baking programme, hosted by Sandi Toksvig’s replacement Matt Lucas, will be ready to air in the autumn.
Contestants, crew, presenters and judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood will have quarantined for 14 days before the cameras roll. A spokeswoman said: “We are working hard to deliver Bake Off to the audience this year.
“The priority is the safety of everyone involved in the production of the series.”
There had been fears Bake Off would be cancelled this year due to coronavirus.
Line Of Duty cast and crew have been told they will pick up from where they left off on August 24.
The BBC drama still has 12 weeks to finish filming for the next series.
