Parent worries of web
PARENTS worry more about their kids being exposed to online dangers than sex, drugs or alcohol.
Three in 10 said the web posed the biggest risks, with fears including cyberbullying, online predators, phishing, scams and sharing inappropriate photos.
Far fewer were anxious about the threats of drugs, alcohol and sex.
A third said they spied on children’s phones, in the poll of parents of 11 to 17-year-olds for app Wing.
Founder Joseph Sykora said: “We’re doing our children a disservice by simply spying on them, because we’re not teaching them how to cope.”
