Dope’s on rope sweets

A HUGE stash of fake Nerds sweets have been found laced with cannabis.

Police warned parents after officers raided six properties to find factories making the weed-infused sweeties, which look nearly identical to the genuine Nestle products.

The Nerds Rope sweets – the same name used on the real treats – were described as “super potent”.

Inspector Kerry Feathers said: “We want to warn teenagers of taking laced ‘Nerd Rope.’ It could be dangerous and is illegal.”

Seven people have been arrested following the operation in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
