THERE will be blood in the Dales next week.

Evil DI Mark Malone (Mark Womack) has a violent – and potentially deadly clash – with rival Will Taylor (Dean Andrews).

And one ends up in a crumpled heap, lying lifeless on the ground, leaving viewers guessing who copped it.

Malone will tell vicar Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) that she cannot marry boyfriend Will because he still loves her. He tries to persuade her to run away with him and plots to get rid of his rival once and for all by planting drugs in his garage.

However Will spots him, goes inside to confront him and a bloody fight breaks out.

Asked if the pair would “fight to the death” for Harriet, actor Dean said: “Yes, for sure. Why wouldn’t you?”

ELSEWHERE in soap land, in Corrie Daniel Osbourne’s new love interest – sex worker Nicky (Kimberley Hart-simpson) – tells him they could do more than chat since he is paying for her time.

But he tells her he is not into sex and just wants company.

In Eastenders, Tameka Empson (who’s been on a break from the soap) makes a return to Walford for one night only next week for Secrets From The Square with co-star Diane Parish.

Actress Diane admits filming under new social distancing rules is tough: “It’s been tricky. You don’t touch the wrong thing, or throw your arms around somebody, or walk too close. It’s difficult but it’s possible.”

In Neighbours, Paul Robinson’s granddaughter Harlow Robinson (Jemma Donovan) is caught with a stash of drugs.

And in Home And Away, Maggie (Kestie Morassi) tells daughter Ziggy Astoni (Sophie Dillman) she and hubby Ben need to leave Summer Bay.
