The inquisitive trio were the first to be born at Pittsburgh Zoo, in Pennsylvania, US, since 1975.
Following their arrival, the zoo reported the mother was very attentive and the cubs, one female and two males, started nursing right away.
MORE than eight in 10 adults enjoy tucking into weird food combinations such as crisps and chocolate, fish fingers with custard, and tea mixed with coffee.
A study of 2,000 adults found other unusual concoctions include Weetabix with butter, salad cream and sausages, and mayonnaise on toast.
Baked beans and rice, milkshake and fries, as well as banana and bacon also made the top 50 list of strange pairings enjoyed by hungry Brits.
And pasta sandwiches, apple and bacon on toast, butter and sugar sandwiches, and chicken with marmalade also tickled some tastebuds.
Food flavour expert Niki Segnit said: “Everyone knows the traditional combinations like bangers and mash, or fish with chips. But have you ever tried coffee and orange, or spinach and strawberry? There are many wonderful matches to be discovered, and you don’t need a PHD in molecular gastronomy to start.”
She recommends trying chicken with banana or salmon and caramel.
The Onepoll study for Ocado also found that 27% of adults have created a weird food combo of their own yet 44% described themselves as picky eaters.
