‘ Bare- knuckle boxing just like a sex show’

FORMER gangland icon Dave Courtney says bare- knuckle boxing is like “watching a sex show” and admits he gets turned on seeing men wallop each other.
The self- styled celebrity mobster, 61, did not hold back on describing why he loves viewing rivals in the ring.
He said: “It’s beautiful to watch. It’s like watching a sex show. There’s something sexual about watching a man batter another man. It’s beautiful. It’s sexy.”
Bare- knuckle boss Joe Smith- Brown told how his pal admits to getting fired up watching bouts.
He said: “Dave comes to every show and I ask him during fights, ‘ Have you got a hard- on yet, Dave?’
“He always says: ‘ Yes, son’ or ‘ Getting there.’ He loves it.”
Hard- as- nails Dave, who used to hang around with The Krays, is not the only tough guy to get excited by violence. Exheavyweight boxing champ Mike Tyson also loves watching a high- tempo ring battle.
The sports legend told US podcast host Joe Rogan that fighting gets him off.
He said: “It’s orgasmic sometimes. What does it mean when fighting gets you erect? Well, that’s how I’d get when I was a kid. Sometimes I’d get the twinkle.”
Dave, who has penned several books about his career in the criminal underworld, says modern bare- knuckle boxers have upped their game over the decades.
He said: “It’s a different style of fighting. They are a different level now.”
Old timers, such as bareknuckle legends Lenny Mclean and Roy Shaw, would not last a minute in a dust- up with today’s fighters, he said.
