I was a H. G. V. Driver for 36yrs and held a licence for 60yrs, still drive a car. I can honestly say drivers of today are the worst they have ever been. No courtesy, speeding, tailgating, every rule ignored, no safety. As s there is talk of tax rises why not kill 2 birds with 1stone ne and triple motoring offences fines fines, 2/ 3rds to go to the inland revenue instead of dumping taxes on workers and pensioners. After all it cld improve driving? If u drive to the rule of law and park right u won’t get fined. And why not do the same with all criminal fines to finance their mates in prison.
