MAKING A MOVE: Wanted hunk fancies Caroline

The Wanted singer Max George,

32, has a crush on Caroline Quentin and is excited that she is in the line- up.

The pop hunk, who is dating Ryan Giggs’s ex- wife Stacey, said: “I am buzzing that Caroline is here. I am a huge fan of hers.

“Me and my brother had a massive crush on her and used to watch Men Behaving Badly.

“I have literally just sat with her and thought, ‘ Wow, she is so cool. She is just class.’

“I feel so much better about my nerves and stuff because she is here.”

All eyes will be on Max and actress Caroline, 60, who is married with two children.

She giggled that she had signed for Strictly because the BBC show is “sexy”.

Caroline said: “People are desperate for Strictly.

“They are longing for the joy, sparkle, comedy and fun.

“It’s sexy and hot. What’s not to like?”

Both Caroline and Max have volunteered to leave their loved ones behind and live alone in apartments for as long as they stay on the show. This year to reduce to risk of Covid- 19 infection, one half of every dance pair must agree to isolate themselves.

Caroline said: “I think the hardest thing for me is not being able to see Sam and the kids.”

And Max added: “I’m used to being away. I was away with The Wanted and with my acting.”

Both are hoping for a special kind of professional dance partner.

Caroline said: “I want someone who’s patient and has a sense of humour.”

Max joked: “I’m quite hyper. I need someone full of energy.

“I don’t want to do their heads in. My Strictly curse will be that I will annoy people.”
