Yorkies’ trusting accent

YORKSHIRE folk have the most trustworthy accent.

It was found to be “intelligent and calming” and received 60% of votes in a poll of 2,200 Brits.

The “Queen’s English” was voted into second place with 57%, followed by Edinburgh on 52%.

But “slow and monotone” Brummies were rated bottom with just 4% in the study by online marketplace Onbuy. com.
