POP STAR DIDN’T BRUSH TEETH FOR A YEAR, SAYS EX
PHIL Collins’ ex- wife claims he was impotent and didn’t brush his teeth for a year.
The hitmaker has been branded a “hermit” who rarely washed by Orianne Cevey in court documents.
They were submitted in Miami and form part of the 46- year- old’s allegation that the Genesis star has reneged on a deal to give her half of their £ 30million fortune.
Orianne also claimed that in 2017, Phil, 69, began drinking heavily and would often “fall down from the combination of prescription medicines and excessive alcohol”.
She added: “On multiple occasions, he hit his head when he fell, and checked into hospitals under an alias.
“He collapsed on stage when performing because he was so impaired he could not stand up.”
By 2019, she alleged the Easy Lover singer had become “increasingly depressed, withdrawn, abusive and following an operation on his back, increasingly addicted to antidepressants and painkillers.”
She added in the documents: “He was incapable of having sex. He stopped showering, brushing his teeth and dressing properly.
“Philip’s stench became so pervasive that he became a hermit, refusing to interact personally with any people. As a result, Orianne had no choice but to distance herself from him.”
In response, Phil’s legal team hit back saying her evidence “contains a litany of demonstrably false, immaterial, impertinent, scandalous and scurrilous allegations”.
The couple – who have teenage sons Matthew and Nicholas together – were initially married from 1999 to 2008, and re- united.
