SPORTS fans stuck indoors this weekend can enjoy a whopping 66 hours of non-stop action on the box. Cricket lovers were due to set their alarms early today to catch England take on India in the second day of the First Test match with coverage on Channel 4 from 4am. And the binge-fest will carry on until Leeds vs Crystal Palace in the Premier League late on Monday night.

Perfect

Throw in PGA golf, horse racing, snooker, rugby and the Australian Open tennis and you’ve got a perfect weekend.

Rugby fans can enjoy a landmark 150th anniversary of England’s first encounter with Scotland in the Six Nations on ITV at 4.45pm today.

Both the Test and the Six Nations will be audience-free due to coronavirus restrictions so viewers will have to do their best to create their own atmosphere. Elsewhere, crowds are returning – including in Florida where thousands of vaccinated health workers will be part of a 25,000-strong Super Bowl crowd.

The event, from 11.30pm UK time tomorrow, will see the Tampa Bay Buccaneers become the first American football team ever to play in a Super Bowl at their home stadium.

Fans at the match against the Kansas City Chiefs are to be given “PPE packages” of wipes and hand sanitiser, and masks will be mandatory.

Football supporters can also enjoy watching champions Liverpool take on leaders Manchester City at the top of the Premier League on Sky Sports at 4.30pm tomorrow.

The Reds will be hoping to redeem themselves after their 1-0 defeat to Brighton on Wednesday, while City will be going for their 14th consecutive win.
