Cannabis hits a low
JAMAICA is running low on weed after heavy rains.
A drop in the number of marijuana farmers has added to the shortage.
“It’s a cultural embarrassment,” said Triston Thompson of Tacaya, part of the country’s recentlylegalised ganja industry.
The Caribbean island, long associated with pot, reggae and Rastafarians, allows medical marijuana.
Small amounts of recreational weed are legal and people with 2oz or less of the drug face no arrest or criminal record.
