A PSYCHO seagull picked a fight with a world champion boxer – and won.
Chantelle Cameron revealed the peckish gull snatched her butty when she let her guard down.
The two-weight world champ, 29, said: “I was sitting there eating a baguette, looked away for a split second and the next thing I knew this seagull was flying off with it!
“I just sat there thinking, ‘What was that all about?’
“I thought about chasing after it, but that would have looked a bit silly – and I can’t fly.
“I’ve read about psycho seagulls in the paper and thought it was a bit of a joke – but now I know it’s not.
“I’m going to keep an eye out for them.”
Cameron is preparing to defend her WBC super-lightweight title on March 20. And it’s a fight she says she has to win because she cannot hold down a job.
She said: “I’ve tried working and it wasn’t for me. I got sacked by Tesco’s because I never turned up. “And when I tried labouring for my dad I kept telling him, ‘I’ve got to save my energy for the gym.’” The Northampton lass will be taking part in a free workout on Instagram Live today at 10am. She said: “Now gyms are closed, it’s important we all focus on our mental health.”
