Mum & daughter murders
A HOSPITAL worker and her daughter have been killed in a horror double knife attack before a man died in a car crash.
Mum-of-four Emma Robertson Coupland, 39, was attacked outside work at Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, on Thursday.
Just minutes later daughter Nicole Anderson, 24, was knifed at the takeaway where she worked two miles away.
And police believe a third incident – where a man died after a crash near the A76 – is linked to the other attacks.
The 40-year-old named locally as Steven Robertson is understood to have been Emma’s estranged husband.
Police said they are not looking for anyone else as part of the investigation.
Nicole’s fiancée Vicky paid tribute on social media, saying: “My beautiful wee angel I will love you forever.”
One of Emma’s colleagues wrote: “Heartbroken. One of the most genuine and caring people.”
