Fight for Aj-fury
EDDIE HEARN has revealed there are now four Middle Eastern countries fighting it out to host Anthony Joshua against Tyson Fury.
The Matchroom promoter yet again ruled out the two British heavyweights squaring off in London for all four belts.
They will instead chase the cash in the Middle East it seems, with Saudi Arabia the current favourite.
He said: “We can’t say we will get 100,000 people in Wembley in June, it’s just a pipe dream. So we have to go somewhere that isn’t gate dependent.
“The offers from Saudi are government-backed.
“We get multiple offers from the same country because everyone wants to make money out of this. But there are four offers from separate countries within the Middle East.”
Hearn was questioned on the BBC Panorama documentary which reported on serious allegations made against Daniel Kinahan, who advises Fury.
He said: “The fight is so big it will be the only thing discussed in my opinion among the fans.”
