Kid’s Ewood spark

- By IAN WINROW

TAYLOR HARWOOD-BELLIS believes his loan to Blackburn can boost his hopes of moving up the Manchester City pecking order.

The centre-back followed former team-mate Tosin Adarabioyo in making the switch to Ewood and is set to play at QPR today.

Harwood-bellis, 19, said: “I know that Tosin progressed at Blackburn and he’s now playing regularly in the Premier League with Fulham, so hopefully I can follow in his footsteps.

“I want to be earning experience and playing against the big boys in this league, fighting for my place and points on the table.”

Mark Warburton is desperate for his QPR side to shake off their home hoodoo after an impressive run of form on the road.

He said: “We have to look at the fact we got good results away and then let ourselves down against Derby at home.”
