MUST-WIN FOR SHINN

- By JAMES NURSEY

GRAEME SHINNIE believes Derby are back in a survival “dogfight”.

They saw a run of three 1-0 wins halted by a 3-0 defeat at Rotherham on Wednesday night.

Now midfielder Shinnie (inset) has demanded a response at Barnsley today.

He said: “It drives us right back in it, we are in the thick of it and we need to stand up and fight.

“It’s a dogfight at the bottom.

“We need to go and try and win the game.”

Derby strengthened on deadline day by bringing in Teden Mengi from Manchester United, Lee Gregory from Stoke, George Edmundson from Rangers, Beni Baningime from Everton and Patrick Roberts from Manchester City on loan.

Gregory, Baningime and Roberts all came on as subs in midweek and could make full debuts today.
