FUMING Pep Guardiola has hit back at Jurgen Klopp and accused his title rival of spreading ‘fake news’.

Klopp claimed Guardiola’s Manchester City had benefited from a two-week break after their game at Everton was called off in December.

But rather than a break, the City manager lost five players to Covid-19 and was forced to travel to Chelsea five days later with just 14 stars available.

Guardiola says he expected better of the Liverpool boss and will make his feelings known when he sees him before the two sides meet at Anfield tomorrow.
