A SHY woman famous for hating publicity told the entire world last night: I’m having another nipper.
In scenes that could have been straight from a romcom – but weren’t – the ex-actress and her ginger beau chose Valentine’s Day to announce
the terribly exciting news. The couple shared a black and white picture of themselves, sat under a tree thought to be at their Californian home.
But it looked incredibly similar to a heartwarming scene from 1999 film Notting Hill, starring posh Brit Hugh Grant and Hollywood royalty Julia Roberts.
The picture was taken by Misan Harriman, who tweeted: “I was there at your wedding to witness this love story begin, and my friend, I am honoured to capture it grow.”
Last night cynics pointed out that the dad-to-be’s mother announced that she was pregnant with him on Valentine’s Day in 1984.
Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic the couple have been social distancing with their 21month-old son at a multimillion-pound mansion in Santa Barbara, California.
They moved to the US last year for a “quieter life”.
A Buckingham Palace spokesperson said last night: “Her Majesty, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales and entire family are delighted and wish them well.”
