Denial in Harry tragedy

THE Foreign Secretary said the fact that Harry Dunn’s alleged killer worked in intelligence had nothing to do with her immunity claim.

Dominic Raab said yesterday: “We don’t comment on intelligence matters but what I can say categorically is that Anne Sacoolas’ status was as the partner or the spouse of an officer of the Embassy.”

Motorcyclist Harry, 19, was killed in a road crash outside US military base RAF Croughton, Northants, in August 2019.

Sacoolas, 43, was able to return to the States due to her diplomatic immunity given by the US State Department.
