WHILE I stand by my advice to always get everything in writing, it is worth noting that even a verbal job offer can be considered a legal contract.
An offer that is subsequently withdrawn can, therefore, be perceived as a breach of contract. Whether or not you choose to pursue this should be given very careful consideration. Did you actually suffer any loss as a result of this? In Aimee’s case, the answer is no! And is there really anything to gain from it? Again, I would say not.
