ANIMALS ON THE LOOSE: A YOU VS. WILD MOVIE (12) (Netflix from Tuesday) ★★★
ADVENTURER Bear Grylls needs our help. Not on a full-time basis (although I’d gladly offer him a few cooking lessons, maybe wean him off the yaks’ eyeballs, raw zebra etc) but for the duration of this 90-minute film.
It’s another of Netflix’s interactive specials, where we viewers make decisions that determine how the story plays out, assuming we can be bothered.
The premise of the story is that a bunch of animals have escaped from a wildlife sanctuary and that Bear has been summoned to help.
There’s an ominously peckish lion to track down, for example, and a lairy baboon who’s none too keen to be recaptured.
And the sanctuary fence needs fixing before any other creatures do a runner.
