JORDAN HENDERSON has revealed that he and his Liverpool teammates have been tickled by some of the wild rumours flying around during their poor run.

And he admitted that the one which made him laugh the most was about a punch-up which supposedly took place between good friends Andy Robertson (right) and keeper Alisson.

another shock defeat, the Reds skipper insisted he didn’t need to dignify such nonsense with a response.

But with a huge smile he said: “It doesn’t need me to say anything about something like that. Yeah, not true. Someone is sitting behind a keyboard making up rumours about the manager or the players in the dressing room. “I quite liked the one where Robbo and Ali were having a fight about something. “That made us chuckle a little bit.” And in emphasising the fact neither of the two rumours held any truth at all, Henderson added swiftly: “Apart from that I didn’t really give it much thought. “That was a rumour, I just enjoyed that rumour, that’s all.”

Klopp was the subject of some intense speculation at the weekend with many Liverpool supporters convinced he had decided to quit after his press conference following Saturday’s defeat at Leicester.

Huge rumours swept across social media about his reasons for ‘quitting’ but, as Henderson’s response illustrated, they were met with disdain from within the club.
