Riots in Bristol against the Government’s new bill to give the Police more powers to control demonstrat­ions/protests. If left-wing activists didn’t take things too far, such as causing criminal damage to statues and other historic monuments, then the Government would not have had to introduce measures to give the Police more powers. The report regarding the 85 hereditary peers with their snouts in the trough is outrageous. They have claimed £50m in expenses for doing bugger all since 2001. Then we have the House of Lords claiming £323 per day tax free for sleeping in leather seats all day to sleep of their subsidised luncheon and bar. Where is an OLIVER CROMWELL to rid us of these parasites when we need it, things must change.

The Ricky Gervais article in today’s Star about not wearing underpants was funny - his partner obviously wears the “pants”!! My hubby Stewart very rarely wears them, but when he jogs his breath comes out in short “pants”!!
