BORIS Johnson insists that any “responsible” Government would look into the potential of coronavirus passports to speed up the reopening of the economy.

Top Tory Michael Gove is examining the possibility of introducing certificates to attend sports events, cinemas, theatres and other venues and events.

The PM says documentation will not be needed for shops or pub gardens when they open on Monday.

But he added: “It is going to be responsible for any government to look at the possibility.”
